The IDEAL Project, led by PenARC's Dementia theme lead Professor Linda Clare has produced a leaflet with five key messages about how people living with dementia can stay well during the coronavirus outbreak.
The initiative focuses on how to support people with dementia living in the community and their family carers and help manage the psychological and social impacts of social distancing, self-isolation and lockdown during the outbreak.
A free copy of this dementia coronavirus factsheet can be downloaded here (PDF, 3.39MB).
A linked information sheet for family carers can be downloaded here (PDF, 3.6MB).
The IDEAL programme is led by REACH at the University of Exeter. The leaflet was produced as a result of a project led by the University of Exeter and the NIHR Older People and Frailty Policy Research Unit, with partners including PenARC, Alzheimer’s Society, Manchester University, Bradford University and Brunel University London.
