Staff Profile

Dr Krystal Warmoth

Research Fellow

Kath Maguire

I am a Research Fellow working within the Institute of Health Research at the University of Exeter Medical School. I am a social and health psychologist interested in how we can best support the health and well-being of multimorbid and frail older adults. To do this, I use mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) for my research.

Since completing my PhD in 2015, I have worked in both the United States of America and the United Kingdom. I have contributed to several different projects involving psychosocial interventions, implementation, rehabilitation, behaviour change, palliative care, and public health.

In my current role at the University of Exeter, I lead the STOPPING project which aims to inform the development of a deprescribing (the reducing or stopping of medicines) approach to be implemented in care homes.
