I am the Operations Director for the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for the South West Peninsula (PenARC). PenARC’s role is to increase the quantity and quality of patient focused research; facilitating the use of research evidence to improve services and increase the capacity of the local health economy to use and generate research evidence. I hold overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the PenARC research programme and am a key relationship manager across the entire collaboration, directly responsible for outcome delivery, priority setting and financial management of the £15 million budget.
