There are a variety of routes through which research questions become projects, but our adoption processes have the same three key aims:   

  • Conduct patient-focused research reflecting the needs of the public and the NHS
  • Support evidence-based service change for the benefit of patients and the public
  • Build capacity within the local health economy to generate and effectively use the results of research

Devon Partnership Trust is currently piloting an out of hours telephony system for mental health enquiries. This project is modelling the system to ensure it can support the expected increases in demand over time. Read more

This project explored the potential impact of three different GP appointment scheduling policies on waiting times and continuity of care at Ivybridge Health Centre. Read more
