There are a variety of routes through which research questions become projects, but our adoption processes have the same three key aims:   

  • Conduct patient-focused research reflecting the needs of the public and the NHS
  • Support evidence-based service change for the benefit of patients and the public
  • Build capacity within the local health economy to generate and effectively use the results of research

Cognitive Monitoring in Planned Arthroplasty Surgery Study (CoMPASS)

Community pharmacist home visits for elderly and/or vulnerable populations

To assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of a home visit service by community pharmacists for elderly and/or vulnerable populations and to assess the feasibility and acceptability of such a service as perceived by those receiving and providing the service. Read more

Comprehensive Mouth Care and Post-operative Pneumonia (CUPPA)

D-PACT: Dementia - Person Aligned Care Team

The Dementia – PACT (D-PACT) programme is a five-year project, funded by a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Programme Grant for Applied Research (PGfAR), that aims to develop and evaluate a system for dementia support based in general practice for people with dementia and their carers.
