Research and Projects

This page provides more detail about the PenARC project portfolio. Projects are themed around five research areas:

  • Complex Care
  • Dementia
  • Mental Health
  • Public Health
  • Methods for Research and Improvement

There are a variety of routes through which research questions become projects, but our adoption processes have the same three key aims:

  • Conduct patient-focused research reflecting the needs of the public and the NHS
  • Support evidence-based service change for the benefit of patients and the public
  • Build capacity within the local health economy to generate and effectively use the results of research

In the pages below you can find out more information about many of our current and completed projects. You can filter content by PenARC (and PenCLAHRC) research themes, status, or by keywords.
