At PenARC we believe that better health and care can be provided to patients and the public by making decisions that are based on evidence.
This free one day Making Sense of Evidence workshop is designed to teach you how to find and use evidence to make effective health and social care decisions and is open to all clinicians, allied health professionals, managers, and other health and care colleagues interested in improving their critical thinking.
During our the Making Sense of Evidence workshop you will:
Formulate a focused question
Track down, organise and assess the quality of evidence
Learn how to use critical appraisal skills with Randomised Controlled Trials (RCT) and Systematic Reviews (SR)
Understand the application of evidence in practice
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of your educational process
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
