FREE PenARC Annual Making Sense of Health Research Conference

At PenARC we believe that better health and care can be provided to patients and the public by making decisions that are based on evidence. During this annual event our expert tutors will help you to discover how to use evidence to make effective health and social care decisions.

Workshops include:

Introduction to Diagnostics, Tracking Down the Evidence, an Introduction to Making Sense of Qualitative Research, Critical Appraisal of a Randomised Controlled Trial, Critical Appraisal of a Systematic Review, SHERPA (a new model for applying Evidence Based Practice in the context of multimorbidity) and HSMA Modelling taster session. *Exact workshop programme to be confirmed.

Our Making Sense of Evidence (MSE) workshops are designed to teach you how to find and use evidence to make effective health and social care decisions and are open to all clinicians, allied health professionals, managers, and other health and care colleagues interested in improving their critical thinking.
