Making Sense of Evidence: An Introduction to Qualitative Research

This new half-day workshop forms part of the Making Sense of Evidence series.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Discuss at least four differences between the main research paradigms
  • Discuss how an ‘experience’ can hold different meanings for different individuals
  • Describe seven criteria used to assess the quality of qualitative research
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of a system for critically appraising qualitative research
  • Know where to go next for resources on qualitative research methods
