Seminar room A1, John Bull Building, Plymouth
29th September 2015
10:00 - 15:30
The 12th PenCHORD Seminar, Showcase and Workshop Event (a capacity building initiative of the NIHR CLAHRC for the South West Peninsula) will take place on Tuesday 29th September in the John Bull Building, Tamar Science Park, Research Way, Plymouth, Devon PL6 8BU.
We are delighted to confirm that Claire Cordeaux (Executive Director of Health and Social Care, SIMUL8 Corporation) will be speaking at our event. Claire will be talking about how Simul8 software can be used to support pathway modelling and decisions within health and social care organisations.
We will be running a hands-on introductory Simul8 workshop to allow attendees the chance to try out using Simul8 to undertake some simple but effective modelling, and explore some of the features of this piece of software that is used by PenCHORD to model patient pathways and analyse bottlenecks, and which will form an integral part of our upcoming Health Service Modelling Associates programme. No prior knowledge of modelling or Simul8 is required, although those who have attended or are planning to attend our training programme are likely to find this of particular interest.
The itinerary for the day will be as follows:
As always, attendance at this event is free of charge, but we do ask you to register for this event for catering purposes.
